What is this?
This is a multi-platform game that is going to raise awareness and spread education about Lyme Disease.
Created by Dr. Pat Baccili as part of her Lyme Global platform and initiative to educate the world about the devastating effects of Lyme Disease. This game takes a fun and educational approach introducing you to all of the “bad guys” bacteria and co-infections associated with the disease. Players have an opportunity for prevention and treatment through the “super hero” preventative and treatment measures.
The goal is staying alive & healthy while navigating exciting adventures! You just need to make sure you CHECK FOR TICKS!
Why Now?
Our #1 priority is education which is the first step to prevention and treatment. There are several organizations focused on research and a cure. Our focus is on letting the vulnerable people of the world know about Lyme Disease so they can take the proper measures to prevent and treat.
How it Works
Choose your character and create your avatar. Pick from multiple different adventures (unlock more as you go). Navigate through each adventure and challenge. Along the way you may encounter ticks, tick bites, etc… how you are affected depends on the preventative measures you’ve taken. If you get bit, pick from the “super hero” protectors to take action now!
Successfully navigate a tick encounter and your tick “bad guy” will explode! With each explosion you rack up more points to unlock more levels.
In the mobile & web version of the game you get to design your own character. You can unlock more styles to customize as you progress through the game. For board game users, you will choose from already designed characters to move around the board.
Decide which adventure you want to go on. Each one will have it’s own challenges and rewards. More adventures are unlocked as you progress through the game.
Check for TICKS! Take the proper precautions, and if you do encounter an enemy you will have to decide on the best method to deal with it. Be careful…. if you choose wrong you may end up with multiple co-infections OR delayed symptoms!
Successfully defeat your enemies and watch them explode! For every explosion your score goes higher and higher.
Need extra help? Call upon your remedies. Antibiotics, detox, diet, western blot test, colloidal silver, or Rife Technology; to name a few!
